A downloadable game

Started as a 10-liner game, but this grew too big. Added some nice features, including tall buildings with spires, random building lights, sine-wave derived cityscape, bomb falls even when crashed, level-up changes dynamic range of sine-wave city and height, decelerating landing, and other nice touches. This particular version is for BBC Micro, running in MODE 2.

Now with bug fixes, sound and accessibility improvements - Thank you Barrie Ellis.

Enjoy!

PS. Just added auto-boot feature (shift+break)

Hello!

This game looks nice! May I ask a question? Was the game written in BBC BASIC?

Thanks!

Thank you. Yes it is.

Hello, I see. I have one more question. The modern version of BBC BASIC is a freeware. Do you have any plan to use the modern version to compile the game?  Thus gamers will be able to play the game on Windows(directly), Mac, Linux,  Android, IOS,  Raspberryand browsers. I mean BBCSDL:

Hello there. That's a great idea. But I don't think so.

Congrats for the nice version of the classic Bomber game. We really appreciate it !

Thank you :-)

Nice one. I'm going to load this up on my real BBC and have a go :-)

Aw, thank you!

I still haven't had a go at this and I feel a little bad for that given how long ago I saw this. I haven't forgotten and the time is coming up ..... maybe this weekend.

:-)

Easy, and great fun.  An elegant version of the double height procedure too.  I always wondered how much hard work it would be to create a double height text procedure that would make the text less blocky.  Maybe I'll try it out one day

very good
